Jenifer Gonzalez, LCSW, LCAS, CCS, CCTP
Lead Therapist
Most of my work has been with people who have experienced or been impacted by a trauma. My small caseload allows me to provide customized and focused attention to my clients' needs. Some of my clients have been in therapy before, and some are new to the experience. I know traumatic and stressful experiences are different for every person. I am very knowledgeable about military culture and how it affects service members and their families. First responders are given expedited scheduling options to support their resiliency and readiness. Clients receive the white glove experience of being heard, believed, and understood in every encounter. At One Therapy, clients are part of their own treatment team and planning.
I am also committed to helping new professionals gain support and experience through internships and clinical supervision.

I work with teenagers and adults who want support to build their self-confidence, create healthy relationships, and improve their overall mental health. I make sure my clients get a safe place to work though things at their own pace. My experience in the public school system as a School Social Worker has shaped my ability to understand the stressors teens (and their parents) are dealing with these days. All of my clients are given a safe and secure place to discuss their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Michael Thayer, MSW Intern, Indiana Wesleyan University
Outpatient Therapist Intern
Serving in the military for over 20 years, I have firsthand knowledge of the challenges facing service members and their families. Throughout my career, I witnessed many fellow service members struggle with anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. This ultimately motivated me to further my education to address these concerns more effectively. Drawing on both my professional training and personal experiences, I work with adult clients facing these same concerns. I have extensive experience working with military members, veterans, first responders, and their families knowing many individuals in these populations face chronic stress related to high-risk occupations, work–life balance, marital strain, and parenting challenges. I work with clients to enhance their resiliency and emotional well-being by providing a safe place to talk and by supporting development of healthy coping strategies.
Specializing in: Military-related stressors, Relationship stress, Mood Disorders, and Life Transitions with a special interest in proactive maintenance of mental health

I enjoy working with adults and teens carrying the weight of childhood trauma. You may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in painful patterns. You want emotional freedom, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of yourself. You need (and deserve) a safe space to be heard without judgment. You want new tools to manage emotions and support to rebuild trust and connection—so you can feel steady, valued, and hopeful. My clients are involved in every step of their treatment planning and feel empowered in the process. I work closely with my clients to strengthen communication, build resilience, reduce shame, and restore healthy connections. My goal is to support lasting change that helps you connect to what matters most in your life.
