We are looking for a compassionate therapist to join our team.
One Therapy provides compassionate care customized to each client.
We focus on low to moderate acuity clients with mental health and co-occurring disorders. Many of our clients have a trauma history and have had past experience in therapy. They come to One Therapy because they are ready for even more growth. You will enjoy full administrative and billing support in a fully furnished office. You will set your own availability during the work week Monday through Friday, taking into account time needed for self-care and to manage responsibilities in your personal life. You also decide when your caseload is full. We ask that you conduct a minimum of 10 sessions per week. This is an W-2 employee position which means you will be paid biweekly with required tax withholdings. You will be paid for sessions completed with a note during the pay period, regardless of whether payment has been collected from client or insurance.
What you bring:
You bring experience in mental health, behavioral health, or substance use treatment: in-patient, outpatient, or in the community. You have a passion for helping folks improve their mental health so they can live their best lives in the most authentic way possible. You bring your lived experience and knowledge of resources in the Craven County area to empower your clients.
What you will do:
A typical week might include an intake or two (biopsychosocial assessments) and 5-10 psychotherapy sessions with your established clients. Your caseload will grow with you. You may choose to see 3-5 clients each day, 5-6 clients per day, or schedule a few full 6-7 session days. Youmay choose to see clients in the evenings or on a weekend, but only if that is desirable for you. Evenings and weekends are not required. With very minimal administrative work, you will fully focus on providing high quality customized care to your clients. This will leave plenty of time to take care of yourself as well.
What we will do:
Encourage regular self-care
Provide clinical consultation and support
Provide professional development support
Assist with insurance credentialing
Administrative support for coordinating treatment
Verify insurance, file claims, and address billing issues
Collect co-pays and make payment arrangements
Send intake paperwork and ensure all consents are in place
Schedule intake session within your designated availability
Send and follow up on outcome measures sent to clients
Provide HIPAA compliant, secure record keeping, which includes telehealth, and provide a backup telehealth platform
What is the pay:
This is an W-2 employee position which means you will be paid biweekly with required tax withholdings. You will be paid for sessions completed with a note during the pay period, regardless of whether payment has been collected from client or insurance. You will be paid a flat-rate per service provided. Annual earnings will depend on whether you stay part-time or work up to full-time. Full-time work would be about 20 sessions per week with earnings of $60,000 and up.
